The Care Quality Commission regulates our live-in and visiting care services. This means our services are regularly inspected and assessed against regulatory guidelines. We’re delighted to have achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating in our last inspection which means we’re proven to provide safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led services.

 

Trinity Homecare’s journey started over 20 years ago when a husband and wife team founded a small care agency in Wimbledon. They wanted to make a difference to people’s lives and after all this time, this has never changed.

We’ve developed our team and our services to provide heartfelt visiting home care and bespoke support across Surrey, and live-in care throughout mainland England.

Lakeway Ecology

Lakeway Ecological Consultancy can carry out all the ecology surveys and produce the wildlife reports needed for your planning application. We are able to work with you on any project, providing peace of mind that all your ecological needs are met. Our principal ecologist has a specialist interest in mitigation schemes for clients on heritage buildings and unusual and complex sites.

As a small consultancy, we are big enough to resource your project and issue reports quickly, but pride ourselves on providing a friendly and personal service. So if you have been asked to provide bat or dormouse surveys, or other wildlife information for a planning application get in touch. We can also provide advice on habitat management.

Warden Farm Holiday Cottages

Our 4 cottages are just outside NorthTawton with views over Dartmoor. We sleep 24 in total which works well for family or multi generational groups. We have one 1 bed cottage, one 3 bed and two which have 4 bedrooms.

“Roundabout”

“Roundabout” is  the local community magazine published on behalf of the four parish churches of North Tawton, Sampford Courtenay, Bondleigh and Honeychurch.  It appears monthly (except  December’s edition  which covers both December and January).

Business enterprises are charged for advertisements.  Community notices are printed free of charge.

Publication is on the first of the month.  Copy should be in the hands of the editors ( Hilary and Richard Edwards) no later than the 13th of the month before publication is required ( and earlier if possible).

The Fountain Inn

The Fountain inn is a small proper local pub.  We have a great selection of Ales that are rotated regularly.  There is a pool table and 2 dart boards, and a jukebox with a massive catalogue of all your favourite tunes.  We hold a meat draw every 2 weeks on a Friday night,  and a quiz once a month on a Wednesday.  The Fountain loves any excuse to have a party and raise money for local charities, Devon Air Ambulance and Cancer research. We’re located in Exeter Street, North Tawton, EX20 2HB – this is the road just opposite the Spar Shop, you can see the Fountain Inn from the road junction, on the left hand side.
